A hanging scroll featuring an ink and gold leaf painting of two cortical pyramidal neurons. The synaptic spines are highlighted in 22K gold leaf, giving this scroll a pleasing sparkle in ambient room lighting (apologies that the synapses are blown out in these photos, something I discovered after the fact. In person they appear as yellow 22K gold).
